Explore the intersection of calm and strong in Trisha’s signature immersive training. Dive deeper into teaching strength and mobility within a mixed-level yoga class, moving beyond traditional postures. Trisha’s main objective is to equip you with the skills to effectively integrate strength based training into your teaching and personal practice. Throughout the program, we’ll deconstruct class sequencing, ensuring it’s both accessible and impactful.

Topics we will cover include:

  • Master the art of sequencing by incorporating fundamental movements: push, pull, hinge,
    squat, lunge, and rotate.
  • Gain insights into pain science and the nervous system to enhance your teaching approach.
  • Understand the principles of progressive overload and how to select appropriate weights for
    your students.
  • Engage in hands-on learning, practice, and discussions to solidify your understanding and
    application of strength-based yoga.

About Trisha:

Trisha has been a mover her whole life, now a dedicated trainer and advocate for accessible strength and mobility in movement practices. As a seasoned yoga teacher, Trisha understands the importance of breaking free from limiting beliefs and embracing a holistic approach to helping people rediscover their innate strength and confidence in motion. Drawing from years of experience in ashtanga vinyasa yoga and a journey of self-discovery, Trisha realized the necessity of incorporating diverse movement modalities beyond traditional yoga asana. Recognizing the need for change in the yoga and fitness culture, she empowers yoga teachers to evolve their sequencing to better serve students with pain and dismantle harmful myths that hinder accessibility and potential. Through Trisha’s signature approach, Calm + Strong, individuals are encouraged to focus on how movement feels rather than adhering to rigid aesthetics. By integrating strength and mobility practices, she fosters an environment of inclusivity and empowerment, where everyone can thrive in their unique movement journey. Join her on a transformative exploration of strength, mobility, and self-discovery.
