Posted May 16, 2023

Training will take place November 4th & 11th from 9am-4:30pm with Mandeep at GoYoga Dublin. Super early registration ends 8/31 click here to sign up!

Delve into the philosophical underpinnings of yoga and immerse yourself in a training experience that will give you the space, time and knowledge to develop a more meaningful and authentic relationship with yoga!

Understanding yoga philosophy bridges the gap between what you do on your mat and how you are in your life. Implementing the wisdom and teachings of yoga in your everyday actions is what leads to great transformation, allowing you to lead a life of greater mindfulness, purpose and ultimately fulfillment!

Mandeep is passionate about going beyond the physical practice and helping students connect to the other 7 limbs of yoga which are Yamas, Niyamas, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi. Through physical movement, meditation, breath-work, group discussion and self-reflection, you go on a thoughtful and purposeful journey of through each limb, learning the core principles that make up the practice we have come to love and respect. This program is for anyone seeking more in their yoga practice and more in their lives. You need not be a yoga teacher or long time student to gain immensely from this deeper dive into the traditional teachings.

Topics covered:

  • Study of texts on Yoga Sutras
  • Group discussions on life applications of the Yamas and Niyamas
  • Journaling practices to help apply the Yamas and Niyamas to daily life
  • Breathing exercises for the traditional application of pranayama and how it helps with calming the mind and making it fit for meditation
  • Physical yoga practices, exploring how to create the perfect yoga pose
  •  Meditation practices to help with personal development and to learn how to build concentration and focus
